What does participation in the congress consist of?
All presentations must have a defense video that follows the guidelines indicated by the organization.
All signatories of each presentation must ask at least two questions directed at other presentations at the symposium in which they participate (more interventions are appreciated in any of the congress symposia that generate interest, but these are optional).
To ask a question you have to access the platform using your credentials, you will see that at the end of the page of each presentation there is a space for it. The system sends a notice (email) to the “managing speaker” every time a question is asked and sends another notice to the participant who asks the question when it is answered.
To answer questions you can do so below the question asked (as long as you are the author of the presentation), the system is similar to the forums.
I do not receive emails from the platform
The platform sends automatic emails for different events:
- Generate new passwords.
- Reminders for sending documentation and dates.
- Certificate availability reminders.
- Notices of questions pending answers.
- Private messages from other users or the organization.
- Etc.
All these shipments are made from the email: email@egregius.email (a sending email but not attended to for reception, for which you must always use the technical secretariat email).
It is possible that some institutions’ mail servers consider these shipments as spam and divert these emails to the spam folder or block them directly.
If you suspect that this may be happening in your case, we recommend adding the aforementioned sending email to your contact folder and contacting the technical support of your institution warning them of this problem since internal communication during the event is important.
Can a presentation have more than one signatory?
Yes. Each presentation can have a maximum of 4 signatories and all of them must be registered on the platform previously. One of the signatories (managing signatory) will be in charge of adding the rest of the participants, locating them in a list available in the same presentation form.
Do I have to stay connected to the congress during its days?
We will broadcast plenary content during the congress, at premiere times, but these will remain accessible as will the presentation defense videos and the questions and answers to them. Therefore we intend to concentrate the maximum possible participation on the days of the congress, but each speaker will be able to participate at the time that suits him best. Viewing defense videos from a symposium can take considerable time, so we recommend planning it as much as possible.
I lack funds to be able to participate in the congress, is there any type of scholarship or aid?
All content (summaries, texts, presentations, plenary sessions, defenses, etc.) will be available on the congress website for free consultation and without the need to register. If you wish to participate as a speaker, you must register and pay the corresponding fee; the scholarships or aid to participate in the event must be external to it.
Do I have to pay the registration fee before it is accepted for its defense?
No. You have to register to be able to send the proposal, but do not pay the registration fee until the proposal is accepted for defense at the congress.
How can I pay for the conference?
Payment for the congress is made through the platform and in person (for a single signatory).
1. Access the platform with your credentials.
2. On your work desktop, click on “Conference payment”.
3. Select the payment method and payment method (transfer/deposit, credit/debit card or Paypal).
4. Once the payment is confirmed by the Organization, you can fill out your invoice details and download it from that same section.
If you need to manage the payment of several signatories by an institution, contact the Technical Secretariat
Do all signatories of a presentation have to pay the registration fee?

Can a presentation have more than one signatory?
Yes. Each presentation can have a maximum of 4 signatories and all of them must be registered on the platform previously. One of the signatories (Managing Signatory) will be in charge of adding the rest, locating them in a list available in the same presentation form.

How do I obtain my certificate of participation in the congress?

Between 24 and 48 hours after the end of the congress, if you have completed the participation requirements, the corresponding certificate will be enabled in the certificates section of your work desk.
How do I get my chapter book participation certificate?
You must send the final text following the guidelines and instructions described on the website within the established deadlines.
From the date indicated in the Dates and deadlines section of the website, the corresponding certificate will be enabled within the “certificates” section of your work desktop.
A certificate cannot be issued in advance since we will not have the necessary data or authorizations to do so until the indicated date (titles, ISBN, publishing coordinators…)
I have a question that is not resolved in this FAQ or in the rest of the website. How can I contact someone?
The information contained in the different sections of the website and in these FAQs contains 99% of the recurring doubts that participants have.
In any case, if you have an academic question regarding your symposium, you can contact your symposium coordinator using the platform’s internal messaging (access the coordinator’s personal profile).
If your question is of an administrative or technical nature, you can contact the technical secretariat of the congress (see Committees and secretariats section of this website).
